Enric Rovira Rajoles Chocolate

rajoles chocolate enric roviraRajoles Chocolate is manufactured in the South Western corner of Spain, in the city of Barcelona. The capital of the Spanish province Catalonia.

I had the reputable pleasure to grab the “Rajoles chocolate con leche 40% de cacao”. The chocolate bar is formed as quadrat. The wrapping looked very interesting and artful.

I was only able to find informations in Spanish language about that chocolate brand. Unfortunately my knowledge in Spanish language is very poor. It seems the chocolate factory of Enric Rovira was opened in 1993. I also suppose this kind of chocolate is made by hand, and not industrial.

So I took the first bite and what can I say. This chocolate is really a high pleasure to taste. The flavour consits of the finest milk chocolate. Rajoles chocolate is sweet and creamy. The chocolate piece melts gentle on your tongue, while you close your eyes and dream about the chocolate heaven.

  1. Dear Vladimir Simovic,
your life must be very boring, if you spended so much time in eating chocolate. I discovered this page when Iwas looking how to write “chocolate” for my english homework. I really like your page. It is wonderful!!!! I also love chocolate and I would be happy if I had anough time (and pocketmoney)to eat chocolate that much. I´m sure, you´r not always eating chocolate, but it would be a great thought. My opinion is that chocolate is a wonderful inventation and I could eat it all day long. But not evry chocolate tastes good. Some are better, some are really disgusting.
(I hope, my English wasn´t that bad.)

    Yours sincerenly
    T.

  2. Hi,

I am from Barcelona. This chocolate design is inspired by the street tiles of Barcelona. “Rajoles” is a catalan word that means “tiles”. You can see the tiles in the following link:http://totbarcelona.blogspot.com/2009/02/los-panots-de-la-ciudad-de-barcelona.html
These tiles were designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadalfalch and nowadays are a symbol of the city and the “modernisme” (how we called the Art Nouveau movement in Catalonia).
