austria wenschitz chocolateWenschitz Chocolate is chocolate enjoyment on its top.

No complaints, no negative side effects, no disappointments. Wenschitz is the pure and perfect chocolate bar to me.

I had the “Wenschitz Maitre Chocolatier Madagaskar 64% Chocolat Maison Extra Noir 72h Grand Cru”, and I was really excited about it. The bar has 64% plain chocolate covering, purest high quality Trinitario cocoa beans from Madagascar’s foremost growing region of Sambriano form the basis of the Grand Cru Madagascar with 64% cocoa content, which is conched for 72 hours.

Perfectly balanced, rich, fine cocoa, combined with a touch of roast hazelnut and interspersed with a fresh tinge of forest fruits. Its traditional and ecologically sound manufacture brings out its distinctive tangy fruitiness, perfectly complemented by a touch of cloves and cedar wood, and culminating in a pleasant aftertaste that remains in the mouth for a long time.

Jean Galler makes every effort to ensure that his products reach you in perfect condition. I was able to catch the Galler chocolate bar “Chocolate Noir 70 Pure Cocoa”.

The first experience is a strong bitter taste. The aroma has a flavour of high quality. I would say Galler is a chocolate for the demanding afficionado. In spite of the high content of cacao, the chocolate tastes not too bitter in an awful way. The high quality of the chocolate, offers a good taste which melts gentle on the tongue.

The premium quality of Galler Chocolate is also seen in many prizes and awards in chocolate competitions. Between 1991 to 2002, Galler received 10 awards and medals for its wonderful chocolate creations.

Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate

italy italian chocolateLa dolce vita!

Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate is manufactured in the Italian town of Monsumanno Terme, which belongs to the Tuscany region.

The company “Slitti” was established in 1969 by Luciano Slitti. At first he was roasting coffee. In 1988 he decided to start the manufacture of chocolate as well. Passion for making chocolates and a careful selection of raw materials are the secrets of success.

Several gold medals in international chocolate competitions are the results of his highly gifted chocolate creations.

So it was a true pleasure to me to taste the Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate “Lattenegro” with 51% cacao.

On the wrapping I read that Lattenero is a top quality milk chocolate. Its particular taste is given by the highest percentage of cacao which is selected at the origin from the most prestigious plantations. In Lattenero every single flavour of the cacao is enhanced and the addition of a right quantity of milk makes it a top quality product.

Lattenro is unique, as characterized by perfect balance between cocao, mik and sugar, thus being able to satisfy even the most demanding gourmets. The chocolate bar consits 51% cacao.

So what is my opinion of Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate Lattenegro? At first I have experienced a bitter taste. The slight flavour of sweetness comes slowly by melting on the tongue. Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate Lattenegro is quite a good chocolate bar, if you like bitter chocolates, but for me the Spanish chocolate “Enric Rovira Rajoles” was better. I also have in mind I even liked the Laima Chocolate from Latvia better. Maybe 51% of cacao is already to much for my gustatory nerves, but in spite of that I am a fan Slitti Cioccolato Artigianale Chocolate. It’s a good one. Just a bit bitter.

Enric Rovira Rajoles Chocolate

Filed under: Spanish Chocolate — admin @ 3:19 pm

rajoles chocolate enric roviraRajoles Chocolate is manufactured in the South Western corner of Spain, in the city of Barcelona. The capital of the Spanish province Catalonia.

I had the reputable pleasure to grab the “Rajoles chocolate con leche 40% de cacao”. The chocolate bar is formed as quadrat. The wrapping looked very interesting and artful.

I was only able to find informations in Spanish language about that chocolate brand. Unfortunately my knowledge in Spanish language is very poor. It seems the chocolate factory of Enric Rovira was opened in 1993. I also suppose this kind of chocolate is made by hand, and not industrial.

So I took the first bite and what can I say. This chocolate is really a high pleasure to taste. The flavour consits of the finest milk chocolate. Rajoles chocolate is sweet and creamy. The chocolate piece melts gentle on your tongue, while you close your eyes and dream about the chocolate heaven.

Lornet Chocolat Noir Superieur

Filed under: French Chocolate — admin @ 6:03 pm

france lornet chocolate bar noir“Lornet Chocolat Noir Superieur” was the name of the chocolate I received recently from France.

This chocolate bar is manufactured in the French town of Perpignan Cedex, Avenue Julien Panchot.

lornet chocolat noir

As I was not able to find any information about this kind of chocolate bar, I doubt this is something like a premium brand. But there is a promise on the wrapping: 50% de cacao.

lornet chocolate bar

The chocolate has a good dark taste, but the sweetness is just too much. I would say a medium chocolate bar without any exciting flavour experience.
