Leaf Royal Chocolate consists of 35 percent cocoa. The chocolate is not too sweet and not too bitter. Well balanced I would say. Remarkable only the unique taste. The taste is different in comparison with Central European milk chocolate bars.

I don’t know what it is. Maybe the milk is not from cows? Or they have different cows? Or maybe the milk of the chocolate is from elks? Who knows? Everything is possible!

I would desribe the chocolate enjoyment as thin milky and creamy. I hope this sounds not too stupid. I want to say that there is no full taste of milk chocolate. I was not able to experience a full aroma. The aroma was meager and thin, but that does not mean this chocolate is bad. No way. It’s just … different.

Like I said before  Leaf Royal Chocolate is well-balanced. There is a creamy flavour, which is not too insistent. I would describe this product as an understated chocolate. Nice to eat, not disgusting, but of course also nothing very special. Acceptable chocolate from Finland.

The official name of the product is “Laktoositon Laktosfri Brunberg Tumma Mörk”. The chocolate bar has a weight of 150g.

Brunberg was founded by a bakerman called “A. W. Lindfors” 1871 in the town of Porvoo. In the following 20 years he was able to become the most successful producer of sweets in Finland. In 1928 the chocolate factory was bought by Lennart Brunberg.

My first experience of the chocolate was a lack of sweetness. I was shocked about a real tasteless chocolate.

After one minute the taste changed. There was still no sweetness to taste, but I was able to explore a unique and pleasant flavour of creamy chocolate.

The special thing about Brunberg Chocolate is the unique taste, which is a big contrast to other chocolates. At the beginning the chocolate seems to be quite hard to get used to it, but after a little while you are able to experience a pleasant taste which is so different from all the other chocolates.

It tastes like a cup of cappuccino without sugar. I am still impressed about such special kind of chocolate. Brunberg was really worth tasting.

Salmiakki Chocolate is filled with salmiac. This kind of thing is a rare mineral composed of ammonium chloride, NH4Cl. Quite unusual for a chocolate filling, and my first bite confirms my thoughts.

This is a chocolate with a very strange filling. I would describe the filling as kind of “salty”.

The chocolate around the filling is very good. I have experienced a very smooth milk chocolate with a cocoa content of 30 percent.

I am sure I won’t become addicted to Salmiakki Chocolate, but it was interesting to taste such an exotic chocolate at least on time in my life.

Maitosuklaa is a word in the Finnish language and simply means “milk chocolate” in English.

Panda Maitosuklaa has a cocoa content of 30 percent. My first impression was a rough taste.

The flavour is not too sweet for a milk chocolate. Also the creamy character turns out to be modest.

At the end of my chocolate experience I would review Panda Maitosuklaa as a chocolate with a solid taste. Not outstanding, but quite good to eat. Not more.

This time it was a Panda Chocolate with cashew nuts.

The chocolate consists of 30 percent cocoa. At first I have experienced a bit of a rough taste. After a while in the mouth the chocolates becomes more smoothly.

I don’t know what’s so special about those cashew nuts.  I was not able to experience a certain taste. There was only a very slight taste of those nuts. I could not say it’s a good taste. It has a very slight character, which is almost not noticeable.

I would say Panda Cashew Chocolate is quite good to eat. I wouldn’t take it for the enjoyment. Just if you are in the mood for chocolate, take it. Not more.

The mint filling consists of a liquid mint cream.

I must say that this chocolate is really excellent. Finns know how to make delicious chocolate bars. This is my personal realizing after my chocolate tasting.

Panda Mint Chocolate has a brilliant dark chocolate, and a filling of the finest liquid mint cream.

The only thing which I did not liked, was that fact that I was not able to find the cocoa content of the chocolate on the wrapping. I don’t know the reason for that. The chocolate is brilliant. I don’t understand why the manufacturer is hiding the cocoa content of the chocolate on the wrapping.

But anyway. I have finnished the whole bar in the record time. Panda Minttu is really fabulous.

The chocolate is manufactured a little village called Vaajakoski. Unfortunately I could not find any information about this place in the web.

I suppose “Hurmaava Tumma” means something like dark chocolate. The chocolate looks and tastes quite dark. The cocoa content consists of 49 percent, which surprises me because it tastes like more.

I would classify Panda Chocolate Hurmaava Tumma as a good and delicious treat of dark chocolate.

The thin plate of the chocolate is a good idea. Panda has a full character and a filling taste. A thick chocolate bar just would be too much.

I suppose this product could be something for a lover of dark chocolate. If you prefer milk chocolate you wouldn’t be that excited, but still even for a dark chocolate my experience was not that bad. Althought I wouldn’t become addicted.

Negative point: a bit too close to basely cooking chocolate.

But his true love was the manufacture of chocolate. Three years later he opened his chocolate factory which exists until today.

Geisha is made of tender milk chocolate and filled with a soft and crispy hazelnut cream. The chocolate tastes quite alright. I think it’s a bit too sweet, could be more cacao included, and there is too much milk inside.  Not a product which throws me out of my shoes, but a sweet and nice enjoyment for in between.
